How can we help?

Start with the quick answers below. If you still need help, email us and a real person will review your request.

Common questions

How do I add, change, or remove a free time?

Open the Home tab and select Add a free time beside Your free times. You can create as many times as you need. Select an existing time to edit its sharing, recurrence, exceptions, or removal options.

Who can see my availability?

You control sharing per contact. Choose Share All Free Times, Share Certain Times, or Sharing Off. Free? only returns availability that your current sharing rule allows that person to see.

Does Free? read my private messages?

No. Free? does not read private message content. iMessage conversations are connected when you open the Free? extension in that conversation. Other messaging-platform groups use an explicit permanent Free? chat setup link.

Can I invite someone who has not downloaded Free?

Yes. You can send an invitation link to a contact who is not yet on Free?. Until that person creates an account and shares availability, Free? does not invent or display free times for them.

How do recurring times and exceptions work?

A recurring free time creates individual upcoming occurrences. You can exclude any matching occurrence from the recurring schedule. Booking one occurrence does not book or remove the rest of the series.

How do I change notifications or Quiet Hours?

Open Profile, then Notifications. You can choose the alerts you receive, how early plan reminders arrive, and the start and end of Quiet Hours.

How do I delete my account?

In Free?, open Profile, select Free? account, then choose Delete Account and All Data and confirm. This deletes the account and associated server-side data that Free? is not required to retain.
