Terms of Use

Effective July 30, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Free?. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. A higher minimum age may apply where you live. You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in credentials and devices secure, and promptly notify us if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

2. What Free? provides

Free? helps people share selected availability, calculate group overlaps, connect planning chats, create invitations and polls, collect RSVPs, and organize confirmed plans. Features may differ by device, operating system, messaging platform, region, or release version.

3. Your content and sharing choices

You retain ownership of the profile information, availability, interests, invitations, polls, votes, locations, and other content you submit. You give Free? a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

You are responsible for choosing who can see your availability and for reviewing sharing settings before submitting content. Do not upload or share information you do not have permission to use. Invitations sent to people who do not yet use Free? should be relevant, limited, and respectful.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Free? to:

5. Plans, locations, and personal safety

Free? is a coordination tool. It does not guarantee that availability is current, a participant will attend, a location is accurate or safe, or a plan will occur. Participants are responsible for confirming details, choosing appropriate locations, arranging transportation, and making their own safety decisions. If a situation feels unsafe, do not attend and contact appropriate local services when necessary.

6. Third-party services

Free? may work with Apple, Google, Supabase, Amazon SES, Cloudflare, PostHog, AdMob, calendar providers, maps, and messaging applications. Those services are independent and may have their own terms, privacy policies, availability, and fees. Free? is not responsible for third-party services or content, and integration does not imply endorsement.

7. Advertising

Free? may display advertising supplied by third parties. Advertising does not mean Free? endorses the advertised product or service. Your interaction with an advertiser is between you and that advertiser, subject to applicable law and the advertiser's terms.

8. Intellectual property

Free?, its logo, design, software, documentation, and original content are owned by Free? or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

9. Feedback

If you send ideas or feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation. This does not give us ownership of your account content or private social information.

10. Suspension and account deletion

You may sign out or delete your account through the Profile tab. We may limit, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate abuse, comply with law, or address a material violation of these Terms. When practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to appeal through Support.

11. Service changes and availability

We may add, change, pause, or discontinue features. We work to keep Free? reliable, but the service may sometimes be unavailable or contain errors. We do not promise that every messaging, calendar, map, notification, or advertising integration will always be available.

12. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Free? is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Free? and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from use of the service. Our total liability for claims relating to Free? will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Free? during the 12 months before the claim or 100 US dollars. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. We will post updated Terms here, change the effective date, and provide additional notice when required. Continuing to use Free? after an update takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
